No more mr Student
If you want to buy a house, you’ll have to have an income of some sort.
My income at Ordina is not bad at all for an intern, yet it is far from enough to pursuade the bank to lend me the sack of money needed to buy our house.
Therefore, I’ve decided to take up the offer graciously made by Ordina to become a trainee for a year. The fun starts at April Fool’s (and it’s not a joke 😉 ) and will last for at least a year. Big things are about to happen in the next couple of months, I’m really looking forward to it all!
Poor ole Ordina… they don’t even realise what they’re hiring!
I’ll be on the lookout for news on flashbang phones and backrow rebellion in the offices of Ordina… I fear the worst!
LoL, Timmo… you probably also know why the graduate program of Logica is named Working Tomorrow… We do everything here to practice this motto 😀
It does have a certain ring to it, doesn’t it 😀
Heh, who would’ve thought the sheer brilliance of adapting such a motto would backfire that nastily at the organization.
Productivity goes out the window instantly!
Let say that we work harder then the name of the program would identify. 😉
You should, even interns have to be their money’s worth. 🙂
They do?
Hmph. I’d better redo my internship then ^_-
I’m not saying I’ve been my money’s worth, in fact I can safely proclaim I have not. This is partly because of the costs I’ve acquired with drinking way too much coffee over time, partly because Ordina already has agreed with my thesis in it’s current hard-to-use-commercially state.
On the other hand, the internship saved them a load of money, as no advertising budget has been spent on me contacting them for a job/internship. Free recruitment FTW!
All in all, I’m glad it turned out the way it did right now. It might be quite a burden to get up even earlier over the next couple of weeks, but I’ll have to manage. After all, they pay me to drive that distance. 😉
